At Legal Sea Foods, the fish lives up to their slogan: “If it isn’t fresh, it isn’t Legal.” Legal is known for having some of the finest seafood in all of New England, although the Waterfront and Prudential locations are markedly better than the one in Charles Square. Particularly delicious are the clam chowder (traditionally served at Presidential Inaugural Balls), the double-stuffed baked shrimp, and the wood-fired fish. The place is always full and the waitstaff is friendly and helpful. It’s a good idea to call ahead for reservations. Entrees $11-16.
