We guarantee our merchandise to be accurately represented and free of any defects. We will gladly accept any defective items for an exchange or full refund. Please contact us at

Refunds and Exchanges:
Within 30 days of the purchase date, The Harvard Shop will gladly accept erroneously issued or defective merchandise for a full refund. Refunds will be given in the form of the original payment within two weeks of the receipt of the returned merchandise. After 30 days, an exchange will be made or merchandise credit given for the value of the returned item only, according to the same criteria listed above. A shipping allowance of $3.00 (U.S.) will be issued to the buyer for all returns qualifying under our refund policy.
No refunds will be issued for buyer’s remorse. The buyer will pay the return shipping costs when exchanging items that have been correctly issued and are not defective. We do not allow exchanges of correctly issued, non-defective items for international orders. Please make sure that your order includes the correct colors, sizes, shipping options, and quantities on the shopping bag page. Please make all inquiries about a product before ordering to avoid unnecessary exchanges.

Shipping & Handling:
Orders will be shipped within one to three business days following the order date. Please allow additional handling times for all orders requiring correspondence with The Harvard Shop representatives and orders placed during busy times of the year.
Please note that our temporary free domestic shipping promotion applies only to those items in the Apparel and Gifts sections of our website. Graduation products, Harvard Chairs, custom orders, and various other products are not included in the promotion.
You will receive your order in three to five business days for items shipped to the United States, or six to ten business days for items shipped internationally from the date your order was shipped, per postal delivery time. All domestic orders will be sent via United States Postal Service First Class or Priority Mail, depending on weight. International orders are sent by United States Postal Service Priority International. Delays caused by the United States Postal Servic or during customs examination after the order has been shipped are beyond our control. The shipping time estimates are averages.
We are not liable for delays due to an incorrectly entered or incomplete fulfillment address. Entering the entire nine-digit ZIP+4 code will help reduce shipping times for orders shipped to the United States. To change your billing or fulfillment addresses after you have placed the order, please

You may request Express Mail service by e-mailing us at
orders@theharvardshop.com or indicating your preference in the Special Instructions field during check out. Because we do not store credit card numbers, we may need to ask you for your billing information again.
To ship your order to an address which does not match your billing address, you must contact us by e-mail at
orders@theharvardshop.com at the time of your purchase.
Partial Fulfillment Policy:
If your order consists of an item which is currently out of stock, you will be contacted immediately and offered a shipping refund or exchange. If your order consists of multiple items, one of which is out of stock, your order will be filled partially and shipped. You will be notified immediately, and the remainder of your order will be shipped to you free of charge as soon as it arrives in stock.
