No Guarantee of Job Placement
Harvard Student Resources does not assign jobs to our workers,
but rather relies on students responding on their own accord, therefore
we cannot guarantee that your job opening will be filled.
Minimum Job Placement
For catering service, jobs must be billed for a minimum of four
hours per student. For all other services, jobs must be
billed for a minimum of two hours per student. Jobs less than
the minimum hourly length will be billed for the applicable
minimum. Only if the job requires regular attendance can each
instance of work be billed for less than the hourly minimum.
Multiple Job Placement
Should you specify a minimum number of students needed to fill a job opening,
you will not be obligated to hire any student(s) already confirmed if the
minimum number of students needed to fill the job opening is not met.
Transportation Expenses
Any transporation expenses incurred by the student while completing your job
will be billed to you in addition to the amount billed for services rendered.
This includes MBTA fares, taxi fares, or $0.25 per mile driven in the student's
own car. Please note that you should not pay the student(s) directly.
Moving Expenses and Equipment
For moving services, Harvard Student Resources and our network of students
provide only manual labor. We do not provide trucks, drivers, or other equipment.
Harvard Student Resources insures its workers against injury, but we provide
no insurance coverage for items broken or damaged while moving.
Billing and Cancellation
All jobs are billed by credit card only. We accept MasterCard and VISA. You
must provide your credit card information at the time of posting. However,
your credit card will not be billed until completion of the work requested.
If you cancel your job opening after you have confirmed the job with
a student, you will be charged a $40.00 cancellation fee per confirmed student.
