Please remember, the CQH is a fully licensed and operating restaurant, we are unable to allow groups to bring in outside food or beverages of any kind. We are happy to work with you to arrange any special catering needs, including working with our exclusive caterer, Crimson Catering.
Harvard Departments
The Cambridge Queen’s Head is available for private rental during the school year anytime that full restaurant service is not being offered (Sundays after 9 p.m., Monday and Tuesday from 8 a.m – 1 a.m., Wednesday through Saturday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.). With comfortable seating for up to 176 guests, and a capacity of 450 people for standing receptions, the CQH is alive with possibilities.
A variety of events have called the Cambridge Queen’s Head their home: informal office gatherings, managers meetings, going away parties, luncheons, birthday parties, holiday parties, end of year celebrations, group formal events, retirement parties, recruiting events, charity events, formal dinners, and more! Please check out our rates and amenities for more specific information or contact Scott Smider.
For your convenience we have a draft our rental agreement online.
For your convenience as a Harvard Department, we happily accept 33-digit billing codes in addition to cash, Crimson Cash, Mastercard and Visa. Unfortunately, we cannot accept Harvard P-Cards. If you would like to use a 33-digit code, please let us know in advance of ordering. Additionally, we are happy to assist in setting up an interdepartmental dining card for you or your office: it works just like Crimson Cash for your office and can be used at many other restaurants around campus.

Rates and Amenities
The CQH has a versatile set of amenities available for client use, including a fully integrated Audio-Video system featuring:
- 4 wireless microphones
- 3 HDTVs
- 1 large HDTV projector and drop-down screen
- CPU, AV, and HD inputs for your Power Point shows and computer presentations
- A full PA system for live entertainment
- Karaoke system (coming soon!)
We are also happy to try and assist in finding entertainment for your event including performers, bands, singers, board and light operators, comedians, and more. Are you a performer interested in being contacted for events? Please send a sample of your music or a link to your page to Tessa Petrich.
