The Harvard Student Agencies Summer Leadership Program is an intensive two-day event designed to train high school students in the fundamentals of business leadership. Originally held exclusively for Harvard Summer School students, the success of the initial program led to the expansion of this year’s program to allow highly motivated students from other schools to participate. The program targets high school seniors, juniors, and sophomores who wish to enlarge their knowledge on leadership concepts and values.
Facilitated by Harvard College, Business and Law School students, the program is structured to provide leadership skills relevant both in and outside school. With workshops given by the Harvard Student Agencies, the Leadership Institute at Harvard College, the Harvard Law School Program on Negotiations and the Harvard Business School Social Entrepreneurship Initiative, the workshops will provide crucial leadership skills to student participants.
Session I of the SLP will be held on Saturday, July 12 and Sunday, July 13, 2008 while Session II will be held on Saturday, August 2 and Sunday, August 3, 2008. Both sessions are open to all high school students.
