Overview

The 2009 LLC has been temporarily postponed. Please check back for more updates.

Modeled on the Business Leadership Program (BLP), the Leadership in Law Conference (LLC) is a fast-paced, one-day event designed to expose Harvard undergraduates to opportunities within the field of law. The LLC provides undergraduates with skills and information at a pivotal time in their education, supplying them with the information to make wise career choices.

Students will get a chance to interact and take a class with Harvard Law School faculty, meet corporate partners, speak with HLS students, and ask questions of our panel of experienced lawyers from different backgrounds.

Coordinated by Cronin Center for Enterprise in conjunction with the FAS Office of Career Services, the Leadership in Law Conference seeks to:

  • Expose students to life at Harvard Law School by taking classes with professors and meeting HLS representatives on HLS’s campus
  • Expose participants to a broad range of career options, showcasing the field of law as a vehicle for creating social change in public and private sectors.
  • Inform participants about the issues they will face as leaders in the coming decades, including a focus on internet and intellectual property, health law policy, biotech and bioethics, economics and business, and race and justice.
  • Provide a forum for participants to interact with other students, professors, and corporate partners who engender a strong atmosphere of scholarship
  • Supply participants with the opportunity to meet corporate partners that actively recruit undergraduates.
