Training Harvard's Future Business Leaders

The HSA CCFE Business Leadership Program is a rigorous four-day event designed to train Harvard College's most promising students in the fundamentals of business leadership. Selected from a very competitive pool of applicants, 100 top student leaders participate in the program.

In addition to classes taught by Harvard Business School faculty in finance, marketing, entrepreneurship, accounting, and business ethics, the program includes nightly events attended by Harvard alumni, mentors, and industry representatives. The group dialogues, case studies, and discussions enable students to develop even stronger analytical, communication and leadership skills. This unique academic forum enhances any liberal arts education while building a foundation for a number of careers, including those in the fields of technology, consulting, banking, entrepreneurship, and social enterprise.

Meeting the Needs of Entrepreneurial Students

Increasingly, liberal arts majors are entering the private sector and becoming leaders of the global economy. As a result, the demand on campus for business mentoring and entrepreneurial support continues to increase. The CCFE Business Leadership Program provides students with the competitive and comprehensive academic forum that they are seeking. The curriculum:

  • Teaches the basics necessary to focus and communicate business ideas.
  • Offers a foundation of guidance and resources for entrepreneurial students.
  • Exposes participants to a range of industries and professions, thereby providing them with the information necessary to make wise career choices.
  • Teaches the business language, organizational concepts, and analytical skills needed throughout the rigorous on-campus recruiting process.
